Takeshi Kawasaki graduated from the University of Tokyo, Faculty of Science. After graduation, he joined NTT East, where he worked in system engineering, corporate planning, and new business development. In 2013, he joined A.T. Kearney, where he is responsible for a wide range of CXO issues for the information technology and media industries in Japan and Southeast Asia. From 2019, he has been a part-time lecturer at Keio Business School, utilizing his experience as a practitioner.
