As a corporate sustainability promotion consultant and human resource development instructor, Wong Lai Yong uses her deep insight into global and social issues and provides language skills to advise companies and educational institutions on sustainability efforts. In addition, being deeply interested in society, she established First Penguin in Malaysia to stimulate young people to act on their own. She is also a board member of Penang Women ’s Development Corporation and an advisor to Nagata Advertising Co., Ltd. She received a Master of Business Administration from Keio University Graduate School of Business Administration and a PhD in Business Administration from Yokohama National University. She also holds Japanese qualifications for Childcare Professional (Hoikushi) and Career Consultant. In 2016, she was selected as one of the “Asia-Pacific Shining Women” by the Japanese Cabinet Office. Lives in Malaysia.
